MOCKTAIL: Sicilian Smash

INGREDIENTS

½ lime cut into wedges
1 oz. Torani Blood Orange syrup
4 oz. Sierra Mist
1 oz. orange juice 


INSTRUCTIONS

Muddle half a lime, cut into wedges, with the Torani Blood Orange syrup in a mixing glass.  Pour into a Collins glass and fill with ice.  Add orange juice and top with Sierra Mist.  Stir well, and garnish with half of an orange wheel.

AFTERNOON TEA: Sugar Free Turtle Tea

Just 4 days left until the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. Today we will have a Sugar Free Turtle tea in their honor. 

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. Torani Sugar Free Caramel syrup
1/2 oz. Torani Sugar Free Almond syrup
8 oz. brewed black tea
4 oz. nonfat milk

INSTRUCTIONS
Steam together milk and Torani. Pour hot brewed tea into a glass or mug and add Torani and milk. Stir gently.

AFTERNOON TEA: Tiny Tim

This month we’re celebrating the Royal Wedding with a weekly afternoon tea. This week we’re enjoying the Tiny Tim in all it’s honey-vanilla goodness.

Tiny Tim Tea

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Honey Vanilla syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) brewed Black tea

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour hot brewed tea into a glass or mug and add Torani. Stir gently. Stir gently. 

Serving/Yield: 1/9 oz.

ROYAL AFTERNOON TEA: English Tea Latte

Only 20 days left until the Royal Wedding! As such we are continuing our celebration of the event with the English tradition of afternoon tea. Here is a recipe to get you started:

English Tea Latte

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani English Toffee syrup
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Vanilla syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) brewed Earl Grey tea
4 oz. (1/2 cup) milk

INSTRUCTIONS
Steam together milk and Torani.
Pour hot brewed tea into a glass or mug
and add Torani and milk. Stir gently. 

Serving/Yield: 1-13.5 oz.

At Torani we love a good cause for celebration. With less than a month left before the most anticipated royal wedding of this generation, we invite you to celebrate with us. To start off the party we’ve created a brand new latte in honor Prince William and Kate Middleton’s special day.


ROYAL WEDDING CAKE LATTE

INGREDIENTS
3/4 oz. (1.5 Tbsp.) Torani Cupcake syrup
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Vanilla syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) milk
English Toffee Whipped Cream (see below for recipe)

INSTRUCTIONS
Steam Torani and milk together.  Pour flavored
steamed milk into a 16 oz. glass and top with 
English Toffee Whipped Cream

Alternate method: heat milk in microwave or in a
saucepan on the stovetop.  Once the milk is hot,
but not boiling, add Torani and stir well. 
Pour into a mug and serve.  

ENGLISH TOFFEE WHIPPED CREAM

Whip 1/2 pint of whipping cream with
2 Tbsp. of Torani English Toffee Syrup.

Serving/Yield: 1-16 oz.

In light of the recent success of Torani Bacon syrup, we are releasing three new pork-inspired flavors as part of a new line of Torani Italian heritage syrups.  The new flavors are Torani Mortadella, Torani Salame and Torani Prosciutto. (All made with real cane sugar).
Now you can conveniently enjoy all the meaty goodness of an Old World deli in your morning cup of Joe!
Here are three satiating recipes to get you started on your Italian flavor adventure:
Meaty Marys
6 cups tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
2 cups vodka
1/4 cup dill pickle juice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup Torani Salame syrup
1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir well.  Pour into pint glasses filled with ice, and garnish with a celery stalk and salame skewer.  Recipe yields 8 16-oz servings.
Savory French Toast
6 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Torani Mortadella syrup
2 tsp. dried parsley
8 slices stale ciabatta bread
6 oz. mozzarella cheese
1 cup vegetable oil for frying
1 clove garlic, crushed
In a medium-sized bowl, beat together eggs, milk, Torani and parsley; set aside.
Slice the mozzarella into 8 rounds. Make 6 sandwiches with the bread and mozzarella, dip each sandwich in egg mixture.
In a large skillet, lightly saute garlic in oil, then remove and discard garlic. Fry dipped sandwiches in the oil. When the sandwiches are browned, cut them into quarters on the diagonal and serve warm.
Melon Salad with Prosciutto Dressing
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup Torani Prosciutto syrup
1 Tbsp. grated orange zest
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
freshly ground black pepper
2 cups small cantaloupe balls
2 cups 1/2-inch diced seedless watermelon
1 ripe mango, cut into 1/4-inch dice
1/2 cup loosely packed basil leaves
2 large ripe avocados
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
6 thin lime slices
Pour the orange juice and Torani into a large salad bowl. Whisk in the olive oil and orange zest; season with 1/4 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Toss the cantaloupe, watermelon, and mango in the dressing. Just before serving, stir in the basil leaves.
Cut the avocados into 1/2 inch dice; place in a small bowl. Sprinkle with the lime juice, and season with the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir lightly to combine. Spoon an even amount of avocado into the bottom of 6 large martini or wine glasses. Top avocado with melon salad; garnish each salad with a lime slice.

COFFEE: Vanilla Bean Latte

INGREDIENTS
1 oz. Torani Vanilla Bean syrup
8 oz. milk
2 shots espresso*

INSTRUCTIONS
Steam milk and Torani together. Pour heated, flavored milk into a tall glass and add brewed espresso*. Spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over beverage.

*If needed, 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee can be substituted for 2 shots espresso.

COCKTAIL: Pom Pom

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz. Absolut Mandarin
1 oz. Torani Pomegranate syrup
1 oz. fresh orange juice

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake well, and strain into chilled martini glass.
Garnish with half of an orange wheel.

COFFEE: Butterscotch Cappuccino

INGREDIENTS
1/2 oz. Torani Butterscotch syrup
4 oz. milk
2 shots espresso*

INSTRUCTIONS
Steam milk and Torani together. Pour heated, flavored milk into a 6-oz. cup and add brewed espresso*. Spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over top of beverage. 

*If needed, 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee can be substituted for 2 shots espresso.

COCKTAIL: Pommarita

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz. Sauza Hornitos Plata Tequila
1/2 oz. Torani Pomegranate syrup
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. fresh orange juice
Splash Torani Cane Sugar sweetener or simple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS
Build ingredients in Collins glass over crushed ice, adding float of Torani Pomegranate syrup at the end so it slowly drips down the cocktail inside the glass.
Garnish with lime wheel.
